Ok so everyone knows I'm brain dead, but after having a really whingy baby for over a week, even with very little stress (or so it seems), I thought I'd remind those that are weaning their lo's now or in the future!

Milk is a food, if baby is crying alot, and seems to have wind, he may be getting a bit too much 'food' and may need a drink! lol  If your baby won't take boiled water (like Winston, well all of mine really) try adding enough squash or pure juice to make a slight change of colour, it may seem like coloured water to you, but to baby it seems to be full of flavour in comparison!

My little mite, didn't even get constipated thankfully, but I suddenly had an idea he may be thirsty not hungry and he downed a full 8oz bottle of fluids.  You'd think by this time I'd have it down to a fine art! lol  He has been much happier these last 2 days, having his puree's with squash rather than milk!  At least he is happy now, I have adjusted his routinenow, and he sleeps so much better! lol

This was the case for my ds too, but he was never a great milk drinker anyway he would only take 3 oz at one time, but would guzzle his juice instead, now he lives on virtually nothing else but juice but is 3 and doing fine.
