Hiya,
The best advice I could give you is to get & take all the help you can get.. whether the symptoms come back or not!
I really hope you are one of the lucky ones and it doesn't return, or even if it does that it's not too bad (I know it's hellish but you know what I mean..). You will probably see from here that there are a few of us still struggling on with it a few years after having the little ones, but I'm sure there are far more who've had their lives go back normal (whatever that may be with kids - lol).
Hopefully when you had it before your midwife was aware of the condition and you were sent to a specialist physio.. if not, please make sure that you are this time! I know there's not much they can do for the condition whilst you're pregnant but the tips for getting in/out of bed, the car, the support belts, all these things help. So make as much use of them as possible.. But right now, please, please don't worry about it too much (I know that's easier said than done..) as it might never happen and could cloud what should be a wonderful time in your life..
I suppose in closing my biggest piece of advice would be to think positive, just because you had it once doesn't neccessarily mean you'll get it again.. and if you do, it could be milder.. Please don't spend too much time wondering what if? enjoy the here and now...
If you ever need to talk about your fears (or anything else for that matter), please contact me as I know exactly what you are going through. I was in exactly the same position a couple of years ago.. (I had it with my 1st and had re-occuring pain every month afterwards; mainly with the onset of my period) and as soon as I fell pregnant the second time I worried myself sick about whether it would return..
Take care..
