I was talking to a friend yesterday about christmas.  Somehow we got on to the subject of christmas smells and the air fresheners you can get now.  She told me that artifical air fresheners have been linked to depression in a way that makes it worse and they can trigger it off in the first place.

I have just gone onto google and typed in

depression artificial air fresheners

There is losds of stuff there about it.  I was quite shocked.  I love my christmas mulled wine and spices air freshener but not sure i wanna keep using it now as thinking back i have had a few extra crappy days where things have piled on top of me lately.

I hate air fresheners!  I can't breathe when we have them, to the point I won't even let ds1 have a spray deoderant in the house!  It used to be because it made me feel sick during pg, now I just hate them and they never smell of what they say they will anyway!

ive got the crimbo freshmatic spray thngy and its luuuurverly, ive got erm one that smells of fresh baked cakes and two other ones in it..in the hallway..a suuuuper gets rid of all horrible stinky smells in the toilet..and those oil candle thingys for the kitchen the tuscan one i think.  I like them, cos i like having a nice smelling house but thats just me being neurotic about cat and dog smells..cos theres nowt worse.
