As you know my eldest wanted to do operation Christmas child, well, we managed to do 11 boxes for the appeal!  The reason I am chuffed is that the kids got pulled out of class first thing Wednesday morning, to get their piccy taken.  All 3 of them together, and apparently it's gonna be hung up on the wall!  Only 6 children did more than 1 box each and 3 of them were mine!

That is absoultely amazing.  I only managed to do 2, but they took me an age to get together and wrap, and I think they cost me about £25 between the two of them!  A brilliant achievement!  You must be so proud!

I'm not sure about whether I will get a photo, but have asked the kids to try!  It took us 3 whole evenings, and although it would seem that we spent a fortune, if I'm honest it really didn't.  I bought sweets and pencils, soaps toothbrushes etc ( the tesco value ones) and I made little picture books, colouring books and drawing books as I have the binder and LOADS of paper!  I also had alot of fleece so I cut that down to make scarves, I also got a few little cars from tesco when they were in the sales, just as standby presents in case something came up.  As for wrapping boxes, I had about 6, and I asked the school for the extra ones, as otherwise it would mean just sending items in! I've told dh I'm gonna spend £1 per week in the shopping and save up for next years ready!
