I'm looking at setting up a CTF for my two children.  Can you recommend a good bank or distributor to set up with?

We still havent decided, will most likely ask my brother and brother in law for their advice as they both are in the financial game and invest on peoples behalf, so im hoping they will give me a clue.

should really hurry up though as i feel bad leaving it so long already.

If you look under the news threads I did a piece the other week on the child trust fund: http://www.madmums.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=655&PN= 1

The general advice is to do something with the money and if you are not sure just to go for a straight savings account with either The Ipswich building society or Nationwide building society as they offer the highest interest rates.

I put Louis with the childrens mutual through Boots, only because they were the only one offering an additional account for other siblings who missed out on the trust fund voucher

I'm gonna go with a straight savings account, with the nationwide, that way lo will still get it!  You never know what the stocks etc are going to do, you might not get much extra but it's better than nothing
