I've been asked by Harrison's school teacher if I can compile a cd of traditional christmas carols, so they can play them in the classroom for the children.

I was told they wanted traditional not disney and the like but my mind has drawn a blank.

so far i have

Frosty the snowman
Away in a manger
Little drummer boy
O come all ye faithful

Help i said i'd have it done by tomorrowme and my mouth eh!

Ding Dong Merrily on High, We three kings of Orient Are (one in a taxi, one in a car, one on a scooter beeping his hooter, following yonder star), The First Noel, Deck the halls with boughs of Holly, Good King Wensleslas, Hark the herald angels sing, Once in Royal David's city, The 12 days of Christmas, Angels from the Realms of Glory, Silent Night, The Holly and the Ivy, God rest ye merry Gentlemen...  Blimey - there's tons!

I used to work in Woolies when I was at school, and as soon as November came around we had to listen either to these, or a CD with the likes of Slade and Chris de Burgh on it (precisely what does A Spaceman came travelling have to do with Christmas anyway?) so I think they're all forever burned into my brain!

Good luck!

Good King Wenseslas looked out
On the feast of Stephen,
A snow ball hit him on the snout
And made it all uneven
Brightly shone his konk that night
'Though the pain was cru-el
'Till a doctor came in sight
Riding on a mu-u-le
