Hello ladies

Had my op this mornign so i am now lumpless.  Am very woozy nd greoggy as they fed me lots or morphine during my op and mixed with whateve they knocked me out with felt good at the time.

I have a huuuuuge plaster pmsl.. and dissolvable stitches.  It is complete and utter agony..would rather give birth put it that way.  Ive got painkillers, but they dont seem to be doing much at the moment.  Ive finally figured out why they say no lifting lol..cos i cant tolerate the quilt being on me at the moment..poor joe..think he might be relegated to the sofa but we shall see how tonight goes.  So there we go, I am still tanked up to the eyeballs on gawd knows what..all swollen and sore..but at least its almost over.  Ive got to go back in a few weeks for the results..shld be just beofre chrismas.  So then we can all relax.  I think im gong to have a hangover in the morning once all this stuff has worked its way out my system.. thanx guys for your texts..u know who u are!!

At least it's over and you're home. Hope the painkillers have kicked in and that you manage to get some decent sleep.

Well done Steph - glad you home safe and (reasonably) well!

I hope the pain eases really soon for you - make sure you get waited on hand and foot until then though.
