How are you feeling now Steph, have the pain killers kicked in yet?

I know its no where near the same thing, but when I had my section, the hospital very helpfully discharged me without any pain killers and my GP prescribed some over the phone. He said that if they didn't help, there were other options so if you find that its unbearable, do speak to the hospital as there are many options available.

Side ways hugs (on the good side)

Am doing much better now, got a bit more movement which is always good.  The bruising is coming up and its well gross..so far the bruise goes from the wound (obviously) under my armpit and round to my back...but the best one is the fingerprint bruise ive found on the top part of my boob..that made me giggle loads when I found that one this morning.  Ive even got strap mark type bruises on my arms..so they must have tied me down while slicing and dicing..mustve had a well kinky surgeon.  Maybe I should have told them I bruise reeeeally easily.  Ive got volterol for pain relief so they seem to be doing the trick..but I know about it about an hour before the next dose is due.

Im doing fine, just getting bored being out of the way and not ruling the roost.  So I dread to think what the girls are getting away with.  They come to visit me at lunchtimes and dinnertime and bedtime.  The rest of the day, well just sounds like pure madness going on downstairs lol.
