Had my booking in appointment today with the midwife.  I am due on the 5th July 2007.  Never had a summer baby before as all of mine are born in either February or March.  I haven't told work yet but it's getting hard to hide and my lab coat won't do up anymore they probably just think I am trying to be hip and trendy.  It has taken us 5 months of trying and considering I am the wrong side of 35 not too long.  Still breastfeeding Ollie although he did inform us very loudly yesterday that my milk tastes ugh (he isn't very subtle).  Not feeling too ill pregnancy wise just my ulcerative colitis playing up and making me feel horrid, hopefully that will settle down soon.  I have to be under consultant care this time due to the UC and having a c-section last time.  Have decided not to have the test for Downs Syndrome this time but will have the test for Spina Bifida.

Resigning myself to a christmas minus sherry, prawn cocktail and pate.  The things we have to sacrifice as mothers!!

Anyway thought we would let you all know, wasn't really sure how to break the news but decided we deserved some good news after the last few weeks.  Life always goes on.....
