I am 10wks and 2 days now and started bleeding yesterday afternoon.  Not a lot but enough to be concerned.  I bleed at 5mnths with Fran and 7wks with Ollie so have been here before but it's still worrying.

The hospital have been very good and have booked me in for a scan and some tests tomorrow morning at 0940 so will be able to see more what is going on then.

Fingers crossed it will just be one of those things that they can never give you a real answer to.

I had some bleeding with Emilie too, and it was worrying, as I didn't with Alex.

Put your feet up today, it's good you're going in first thing tomorrow.  Take care,

xxx

I am trying to rest but have mil coming on tuesday so have to do some housework.  I can't not work either or we will be in big trouble as I am the main bread winner.  What will be will be I am a big believer in if the baby is alright it will turn out ok if not nature will take it's course which is tough and upsetting but nothing anyone can do really.

Iv only had bleeding once before in my pg's and it is very scary,
and is always worth a trip to the doc's just to check everythings still ok even if they cant say whats causing it.
Sam, what iv learnt from previous pregnancys is that the health of you and your growing baby must always come first before housework and tidying up for other people coming to visit, so im sure your mil wouldnt mind if you haven't top-to-toed the house, so sit down and rest like others have told you too!!!!!!

Good luck with the scan in the morning too.

I bled at 14 weeks with Lewis - had a scan and everything and to this day we still dont know what caused it.  It is very worrying and I was beside myself, but was forced to have bedrest for a few days and even then I spotted for the remainder of my pregnancy.  Some ladies just do and as you bled with your other children, maybe thats just your trait hunny.  Good luck at the hospital and let us know how you get on xxxxx

aw Sam, do try not to worry, I know it's easier said than done...and no housework, MIL or not!  that's an order!

I bled with Ellie so I know how you're feeling, good luck with the scan tomorrow and please please put your feet up today, I mean it.

huge hugs, Greedy, xxxx

Glad the hospital have got you in so quick, am thinking of you and sending masses of baby glue....

It is the most frightening thing, but amazingly common and I know thats no consolation...

Hang in there - and lets us know how you get on.

MASSIVE HUGS
