Take him to casualty and don't wait!  Or if you don't want to do that phone your hv and tell her you are worried sick, he's not normally like this and although they are usually pains in the rear end, they will help as best they can!

Sorry was tyoing in the wrong box

If he has a temp, strip him down to just a nappy, and if you need to reduce it further, give him a tepid bath!

If your lo is teething it could just be a rash because of that!  I know it sounds wierd but one of mine came up with an all over rash just before a tooth came through!  But you know your baby best, and that was out of order to leave you stew for 5 hours with a lo, as in 5 hours lo's temp could be much worse.

How are you taking his temp, under arm, forehead or ear?

Even I worry as a 4th timer!  It's natural, but Fred had the meningitis spots after his 2nd Jab, and I only mentioned it when he went for his 3rd injection!  You see, even I make mistakes! lol

I know alot on here don't like their mil's and I'm one that doesn't listen to mine!  But if she thinks it's heat rash, it could very well be!  Fred had a nasty heat rash as a baby!  I'll put a pic on in about 5 mins, that way you can see what it looks like

And just so that you know, you generally add a degree to whatever the temp says under the arm to give an actual reading, but I was always led to believe that you temp could be anything up to 37.3 c

great vic let me know when the pics uploaded.

my sister is training to be a nurse but i cant get hold of her so i rang ay aunty she also said that his temp can be upto 37.3

hes sat here in his buggy next to me and i think hes dozed off, this is how bad he was last night........

alan took him for a ride in the car at 4am and leo seemed to settle but when alan got home we didnt want to disterb him by getting him out of thge car seat, so we checked that he was wrapped up and not cold and put him at the side of our bed to sleep in his carseat.... is this bad of us?

Nope its not bad, its what a mom does when she needs to !  I've never worried too much if tey sleep in a funny postion, my older three have slept half off the bed an a number of occasions!  At least it got him to sleep!  I know plenty of people who drive their lo around then leave them in the car seat just for a couple of hours sleep, I have done it myself a few times

aww  hun, sounds like you been having a right time of it, if you are at all worried and the doc wont give you an appointment take him straight to a&e, they will be able to put your mind at ease.  I really hope leo is feeling better soon, like vic said, even with 4 you still worry like it's your first.  Try not to worry, it probably is just a virus or a heat rash and he'll be back to himself in no time at all.  TC hun and you know where I am xxx
