Both of mine love oat so simple Nicki!  Winston has had weetabix, I haven't been brave enough to give him normal cereals yet, but porridge etc is fine. If you know there is a high chance due to allergies running in the family, that is why they say leave it a while.

Hiya Nicki,

When mine were little, ReadyBrek was a deffinate winner and i liked it because it doesnt contain as much sugar as Oats so simple does and as they get a lil older, its nice to add fruit, honey, jam or whatever else she likes to it!

None of mine could stand weetabix and still dont like it now.
But if Sophie likes it, it should fill up her lil tum for a while and keep her 'regular' at least

Liam has been on weetabix for a month or so now, he loves it. He also likes rice crispies, ready brek and toast. All made with his trusty soya milk lol!

I gave Cerys Readybrek from 6 months and then discovered that I could give her weetabix as well and so then decided she wanted them every morning.

She's older at 2.5 now but she still has weetabix and sometimes I also add fruit to it for a difference or she has some cheerios mixed in. She also likes cornflakes.

Hi

I know cow and gate have brought out a new range of breakfast cereals and there's a babies version of weetabix, musli and cherios (stars or something), the musli has coconut so just check the ingrediants as it's all in bloomin small print and my lo gets poorly with coconut.

My lo loves weetabix but isn't so keen on it plain so i mash/chop and mix it some bannana and fruit to vary it. He then soon woof's it down if he's in the mood for food!

All three of mine loved weetabix, and still do - that's what Cameron chose this morning - over Cheerios, Crunchy Nut cornflakes (mine - mmmm) and Rice Crispies. I used to love Ready Break when I was young - mum used to let us swirl golden syrup over the top - naughty but very nice!

xxx
