I'm looking to buy a 3 wheel pushchair as I plan on doing a lot of walking (some on the beach so would need something that would go along ok on sand).  I've been looking on ebay, and have seen some quinny zapp's and buzz.  Have you got any comments on these, and has anyone used them on the beach!  Any comments greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We have a Quinny Buzz and have taken it on the beach.  It's great we have had no problems with it at all.  I think the Zapp might not be so good on the beach as it doesn't have the larger back wheels so might dig into the sand.

Iv never really been too keen on the 3 wheeler pushchairs much, but its a sensible idea for managability on the beach tho!
Hope you find one that suits

I have the mothercare urban detour vesta 3 wheeler, and I love it. I've used it on the beach and its been fine.

It doesn't fold as small as the Quinnies, but I'm really pleased with mine.

< =text/>_popupControl(); i have a steelcraft 3 wheel pram and i love it! i do heaps of walking and its easy to handle and goes over all the bumps and rough ground. I'd never go back to a 4 wheeler. It even came with a fly net (very handy) and a plastic cover for rain, not that I need the rain cover here cos it only rains about 5 times a year.I recommend them

We had the Mamas and Papas 03 Series 3 wheeler and it has been on the beach many a times and is excellent i dont even have to drag it.  It is quite bulky and not as small as the Quinnys but it gets a high recccomendation from me.

I have the quinny zapp, and recently took it on holiday and it wasn't any use on the sand, the wheels would slide through it but you had to push damn hard to get any where, now i also have the Jane slalom pro which is miles better for the outdoors things and use this most of the time.

I also have the mamas and papas 03 sport and its brill. Only downside I have found its abit bulky when folded. Its great on the beach and along bumpy country lanes and as we live near both thats where it is used most. Find it really easy to push.
