Hiya peeps....im baaaaack
Been an eventfull few days. Joe went out on friday night round to the families, and i was pooped so stayed home. Was more or less back to normal self on thursday so was ok for him to go out. However, spoke too soon. My temperature shot up (for chemo anything over 37.5 is a worry apparently..mine hit 38), feeling shaky and felt my throat was up. So phoned the out of hours doctor thingy, and actually spoke to a doc instead of a paramedic which was good. He told me that as its my first dose, then he can treat me symptomatically and not get me into the hozzie, which is always good. Take two paracetamol, some immodium, uptake on the water thing (going to drown soon) and that was about it..phone back in 24 hours if still the same. Was fine a few hours later, phoned joe straight away and he came home immediately..good job the bar is all of 100m away lol.
So that was that one, had a housefull all weekend with lots of kiddywinks and our mates over which was nice, yet very tiring, but i didnt really do a lot which was cool.
Anyway long story short..with me that could be a first. My ex hubby has finally agreed to give joe parental responsibility, and the forms for the agreement arrived from the court on saturday. He has sorted his train out for friday, and will be here in time (a whole hour) before the court closes. Weve gone with the parental responsibility agreement, which is the same as the order, except that it is free, and that it is agreed on between the three of us and not a judge. Means Joe will be able to have all the rights and responsibilities that I have...and it lasts til Natasja turns 18. It can only be overturned by a judge if the ex makes a petition for an order..but he would have to have a really good reason to do this..and if it comes down to it and this yakky stuff doesnt work, Natasja has been a child of the family for over 5 years and the ex doesnt have a leg to stand on..also I will be naming joe legal guardian for her, so he can never take her away from joe or isla. I know it all sounds a bit morbid, but I feel happier knowing that I have protected her until she turns 18.....and on a purely selfish point of view...it also means that tasja is entitled to an ozzie passport so we can all go to oz to live when joe comes out the RAF WOOHOOO
