I have loads of twins on my side of the family whereas none on DH's.

I have 3 sets of twin cousins all Non-ID on my mums side, and they all fight like cats and dogs! My uncle was a twin but sadly his twin died at birth.  My mum was told that I originally started life as a twin apparently ..... how they worked that out I do not know lol! My greatnanas brother was a twin too.  Have seen piccies and it is so weird as they are so very different, 1 has dark hair and the other blond!

I would love to have twins and according to my GP with 6 sets on my mum/nan/greatnanas side and all non-ID the chances of me having twins shoots up with every pregnancy!  Considering my next pregnancy is my 4th thats a bit scary! But the chances of that happening (in my head) are so low as I had a single pregnancy first.  I think that makes sense. Don't you usually have twins and then single or am I getting mixed up?

xx

My dh's aunt was pg with twins twice but each time one twin died in the womb at around 20 weeks so just one was born each time.  The first time would have been two boys and the second time would have been 2 girls.  Mil was also pg with twins when she was carring dh's brother.  Again one twin died in the womb at 20 weeks.  That pg was also 2 boys.

Love Trudi.  xx

Hehe Becs my friends dad is a twin. Her first baby was a singleton and now she is expecting non id twins. So no it works either way. Plus with that many twins in the family you still have chance if you are planning on having any more.

i have twins on my side DH has none, i have identical boys well men lmao there 21 now, both were born over 7lb and there over 6.5 in height now (big lads hehe),  still cant tell the difference but i don't see them alot.

i have two best mates with twins - rach has identical twin girls aged 5 I'm god mother to the one they are amazing - they get on great even though they have ups and downs blaming one another for bad things - they always make up,

my other mate bev has non id twins boy and girl aged 5 they are lovely so unalike its unbelievable ones quiet ones not thats the boy and girl thing no doubt, they are both adorable children and think the world of molly, Darcey mothers her all the time which molly laps up lol,

i also have a friend with triplets non id but i cant tell them apart all girls i don't see an awful lot of them, but she copes brilliant. you all deserve a medal in my eyes they all say you learn to cope but i just cant imagine it, even though i use to look after the girls every Fri afternoon god knows how i coped lol i wasnt even a mother of 1 then !!! xx jue xx

LOL I would absolutely love twins.  It seems so amazing to me.  But also really quite scary.

I feel rather sorry for Louise as there are no babies around us at the moment and she loves children but never gets to play with any!

Saying that i'm meeting with a friend from MSN in Manchester again soon and her son is 1 month younger than Lou!

xx
