I've got the contraceptive implant in my arm and for several months I've had long and heavy periods.  However, they have now stopped-hurrah!

But I still get the same 'period' spot on my chin as always.

Do you ladies get the same thing or am I a freak?

lololol Awww Lina, the joys of being a woman, eh?

I tend to get the same bloomin' spot in the same place and it's always HUGE and unslightly.

Was going to be so good and not squeeze it, but it was too tempting!!

Yep i get a spotty chin too...that part of the face actually relates to the ovaries so thats why....I got told that by a excellently qualified beautician, spots are the result of the hormone imbalance when the ovaries and sexual organs do their job! Its true in my case, i just hate my skin, its never going to look anything other than teenage and spotty

I had the injection which is the same hormone as the implant and I had horrible skin (as well as many other nasy side effects).

Good luck, I hope your skin clears up and you get on ok with the implant.

Tea tree oil is good for spots.

I've never had this and don't plan on having it. I have heard more bad stuff about them than good. As for the spot i'm on the pill and still get spots around that time of the month.

It really is a woman thing. xxx
