I have just seen this story on Yahoo.

An Australian man has been jailed for 8 months after he but a 14 month old baby in a tumble dry because she spilt medicine on herself.

The todler suffered serious burns on both feet, face, back and left hand after she was left in the tumble dryer for 2 minutes whilst her mother was at the gym.

The toddler is recovering well and will not have any permanent scars on her body.........but what about in her head?  The poor child must have been ill in the first place if she was having medicine.  My thoughts and prayers are with her and i think 8 months is a joke of a sentence.  She could of died so i think he should have been sentenced for attempted murder.

Bless her little cottons, at least physically she'll be ok.  I reckon parents like that should be shot...but thats just my personal opinion.

I know ive threatend to put my two in the washing machine when they are covered in mud and god knows what else when they have been doing mud pies in the garden...but only in jest.

thats discusting,and not only shold the mother not allow him to see their daughter alone i should think that no1 in their right mind would alow such a utter to be alone with any child!!

ggggrrrr doesnt it make you so mad that there are good people out there soo sooo desprate to give a child a loving and caring home but are not able and some people that do have kids treat em like that,how sick.
