Couldn't tell you but if my dh was like that with the slightest twinge we wouldn't have had 4 with a 5th on the way!  I'd have killed him before the first one!  lol

You need to reassure him twinges and pains are perfectly normal as the uterus grows it stretches ligaments.  also coughing could pull muscles that you just didn't know were there.

I understand this is a very special time for you both, but you need to make him understand, him fretting all the time, isn't gonna make you have an easy ride!  If he needs any questions answering, tell him to do a thread on here in pregnancy, with as many questions as he feels he needs to ask, and we will all having been through it or going through it try to help him out, even if it means we ask our partners!

Hope all is going well for you and I'm sure we will all help in any way we can!

lololo poor poor glen!

i totally know where you are coming from cos like i told you brett was completely the same when i fell pregnant with max.  i think they feel useless and need some control, or at least want to feel involved.  of course, you and i know that they have no control over the pregnancy but try telling them that!! lololol

brett drove me so mad with his monitoring what i eat and telling me what to do that i just calmly told him to belt up or he'll have my hormonal rage to contend with. after that he chilled out alot more.  like glen he asked loadsa questions to me, and his mates who were already fathers.  he also took an avid interest in my parenting magazines!

just tell dh to chill out cos all his over protectiveness is making you tetchy, and that isn't good for you or the baby.  as for a good site for dads i don't know.  i shouldn't really say this as they are the competition but has he tried bounty.com? i'm certain there's a forum on there for fathers. tbh must of us are ex bounty mums anyway.

hth zo x

ps do you need any cotton bottoms?
