Well the engineer came up today!  He checked the power supply on the computer etc etc, and has taken the motherboard away to be repaired as they didn't have any in stock, which is gonna take approximately 2 weeks to do!  So in the mean time I am going to be on mils laptop, which isn't allowing me to open internet explorer so if you do see me in mini chat over the next two weeks at the rate it's gone today you'll be lucky!  Will give it another try later, and hope it works otherwise, I'm stuck! lol  But at least mil doesn't use her comp, so I have soething to keep me going for the next 2 weeks! lol

But at least you have the laptop to use just now - you wont suffer too  badly with withdrawel lol!

Thats true fee, when the comp went the first time it was the day before the engineer came up that dh suggested the laptop!  It was already here from 2 weeks ago, thankfully!   It's a killer though as it's loads slower than my comp, so if everyone suddenly sees a load of posts from one section, it's cos I've gone on pda format, and then gone through the topics and caught up! lol

 You did well with that section flip!  It really has speeded me up today!

My computer is really poorly too, Vix.  But that's because my husband was let loose on it!  With Flips help it's nearly made a full recovery, but I still can't access my own website-grrr.  So I totally understand your angst.  At least you have access to Mil's laptop-lifesaver, your mum!

Note: Where did that Mcfee spring up from?  Isn't she still in Portugal?
