My mobile phone contract is up for renewal next month and I am seriously considering getting a pda type phone. I'm with O2 at the moment, and their XDA mini S looks really good, and I can upgrade to it for less that £50.

I've been into the shop and had a look and it looks pretty good and isn't that much bigger than a normal mobi.

I just wondered if anyone had one and what their experiences were? At the moment I have a samsung E720 flip phone, but it irritates me as the battery like is crap.

I really like the idea of being able to browse the net anywhere - properly though, not just wap. And of course, i could access the pda version of madmums!! woohoo!

cant help, i can only get ebay and msn on my phone, and only just about know how to do it lol

My brother has an MDA compact 2 (i think thats what it is lol) which i know has pda his is a work mobile though, so his is through his company so no idea on price etc.. i know his network provider is T Mobile

im sure m2j has a mobile which she can acess mm's on

Mr C would be the best person to ask (helen c's bloke) Although i work for the carphone warehouse, i havent kept up to date as im on mat leave... so havent got a clue about the new phones out atm.

I have the E720 too, and have had no probs with the battery, although i do put it on charge every night, woops!!!

Ooo Rin, what phone have you got if you don't mind me asking? I'm suposed to be able to get ebay on mine, but even though it lets me in, if I try and bid it says I'm not logged in even thought I am so I can't bid!

Nicki - I bought a new battery for mine and thats no better so I think it might be a fault with the connection from the phone. Grrrr.
