Help I have no sound on Sky!

It blipped out for about 30secs yesterday during the day then went for good in the evening. We cant find anyway to get it back on, nothing unusual has happened to it and it seems all leads are plugged in.

Try switching it off (at box nd remove card) for a few minutes, then switch it back on.  That should reboot the system.  If that doesn't work go through the settings option on the menu and see if its set up to come through tv.  Check your tv settings and see that it sees the sky if that makes sense.  Failing that hit it with a hammer or contact sky and see what they advise.

Ummmm, ring sky, pmsl...

is it just a blue screen??? if this happens to us,

1 - we take the card out, wipe it, put back in..

2 - Turn off from the mains for a min and turn back on

3 - hit it/swear loudly and get very annoyed (like that is going to help)

4 - ring sky

I get that quite a lot

As others have said switch off box then switch off at plug

Leave for a few mins then switch all back on again

Hope that works

Tried all of the above except ringing sky! TBH was hoping it'd sort itself out as cant be arsed to call them! Looks like I might have too.

We have a picture just no sound! Grrrrrrrr!
