I was just wondering if there was anything I could buy for my keyboard to make the letters lowercase to read? Or if there was a lowercase style keybaord I could buy. Joshua is really trying to use the keyboard and I didnt know he knew so many letters. He has just told me all the letters in his name, dog, cat, mummy and ball but he can only write his name, any other words he has to over write. He then jumped on my knee and started writing his name on the computer but couldnt find letters like h because it appeared as a H on the keyboard.

I know I should be encouraging him to write on paper before a computer, but we do writing skills all the time and computers are a huge part of los education anyway. If he is taking an interest then i want to be able to help him where i can xxxx

Get one of the posters out of woolies that has upper and lower case letters on, so he can compare the two.  Failing that, get the iddy biddy blank stickers and stick them on the keyboard.  Don't panic about getting him to write on paper....they do loads of computer work now, the main problem they have is kids not knowing how to use the keyboard.  Or do upper/lower case letters on A4 so he can compare the two. End of the day its all learning.

Jess has been using the keyboard to type and practice her letters and i know it has helped her remember the letters in upper case. The way the world is going we can't get them into computers fast enough.
