I have a boy called Jordan who is 4, Twins Reagan (girl) and Griffin (boy) who are 3, Reagan has a blood disease and infant anorexia.

Then there is my Baby Jacoby who is now 15 months, he was born at 26 weeks and 498 grams so 1 pound. he has had 7 surgerys so far and fights for every second we have with him. we know we dont have him for a long time but a life without him would be long.

I would love to met other mums who have or have not been dealt theses same cards.

i love my children they are my life i revolve everything i do around them.

Hi hun

Welcome to madmums. I hope you are well and i'm sure many of the mum's on here totally argee that their lives revolve around their kids and wouldn't have it any other way..... the same goes for worrying about them too....

I'm divorced and now co-habiting with my dp in Cambrigeshire, UK, I have 2 children (1st from previous marriage), both boys. They are 6years old (kieran) and 18mths (kristian).

I am not in the same boat as you but i can imagine that you sometimes feel so touched and special, i believe children are gifts and we can only treasure them for as long as we have them or them us. I try to make every day a happy one.

We may not always be able to fully understand everyones predicament but we are all always willing to listen and brainstorm ideas out. After all once you've joined mad mum's your a member of a family not another website chat room.

We're all here for you in support or just a chat it's a pitty they haven't invented cyber cuppas yet..... a good old brew and a chocolate biscuit and i'm ready to start again!

Love to all, sending big hugs across the pond, Tsena xxx

Hi and welcome, i am Emma, Mum to ds William 4 and dd Kimi 2 and a stepmum to sd Jamie 15 and sd Natasha 12, I live with dp and all the kiddies, so i can understand how hard work it is with 4, and kind of understand about the time you have with your baby Jacoby, as when my dd was born and they couldn't tell me what was wrong with her or if she would live or die, i used to write in a diary everyday, everything that was going on and every special thing that happened, just incase she didn't make it, i would have something to look back on, with my time with her.

There is normally someone on here to listen day or night.

Hi and welcome.

I'm Maddy - Mad mum to 2 year old Edward. We live in Cambridgeshire with my Husband Tony. I am also 23.

I am so sorry to hear of what you are going through with Jacoby. I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like for you. It sounds like you have a very positive attitude which must be a huge support to your children.

I look forward to getting to know you some more.
