Hi girls, well here it goes. As some of you may know i was in hospital last week with pnuemonia and missed my daughter so much. My mum stayed for a while and has gone home whilst dh is off for a few days. I know this is gonna sound awful but last night his family cam round for dinner and ellen had her jabs. I had been holding her all afternoon and was shattered. When they arrived i got the real impression they think i am a bad mum to her and when they spoke to her it was look at daddy and whats ur daddy doing. Nothing about mum. I feel awful cos its prob just me and i don't wanna upset dh. I am there nxt week to stay with them to help with ellen. The other thing that drives me mad is his dad always comments when she crys only joking but it upsets me. sorry for the moan just needed to get it off my chest.

I am sure they don't mean any harm. Is your baby the first Grandchild? They might not know how to act around you as you have been so poorly. I don't know them but some people can feel really uncomfortable around someone that has been ill and a new born baby maybe it's more about their insecurities than yours and that's why they make silly insensitive jokes.

I hope next week goes alright for you and Ellen. I am sure you are probably a little fragile with everything you have been threw as well and need some tlc.
