GRR I’m so angry, some people are so ignorant and judgemental. I was in Morrison shopping, Keeping control of my 3 kids when Ethan piped up that he was wet (Ethan's 6 and has ADHD with suspected mild autism (aspersers), he wont stand still long enough to pee or ever stop what he’s doing to use the toilet. So when we go out I make him wear Drynites.) Anyway, there was a queue for the toilets so I took him into the baby changing room. I GOT SUCH A LOOK from the two mums already in there. When I asked Ethan to take his trousers and pants off one of the women said “oh my god!” really loudly and demanded to know why he was in a nappy. So I bit my tongue (I felt like telling her to f**k off) and said he has ADHD, to which she replied “more like bad parenting.”
If my kids weren’t there I WOULD have hit her right in that know it all mouth.
Sorry it’s so long I had to get it off my chest.

rofl Janet - I WOULD have told her to f*** off!! I know its not funny - far from it in fact, a few of us have experienced judgemental people like that who have no idea what parents with children with ADHD have to go through every day of their lives.

A big 'mind your own business' works just as well at times too!! Stay strong, remember, you are far better than them and it goes to show that you can cope in any situation life throws at you. You go girlie and rant away, we will listen xxxxxxx

How rude!!!! Its people like that who put a stigma on these conditions and the children who suffer from them!!!! I'd've told her to keep her small minded opinions to herself and go and look up the condition on the comp!!! I think you did very well to bite your tongue and not hit her!

How rude!! I can't believe someone has the nerve to be like that, she should count her lucky stars she isn't in the same position. I am sure she has a lot to learn about parenting and life. Ignore it and rise above it ,stupid person just shows how ignorant she is.

Hun it's peoples blind ignorance that gives kids with ADHD a bad name... I have recently attended a parenting awareness day for mums and dad's with ADHD in the family and they said in no uncertain terms that it is down to Bad Parenting, Diet or Additives!

It's people like them that give the children a complex and low selfesteem. I wish some poeple would keep there noses out of others business.

I don't blame you for nearly knocking her block off! Hugs hun, argh the nerve of some people.....

Well done to you though for rising above it!
