its the time again for the grand national!!! is anyone having a bet today? personally i dont back it but carl has chosen a horse each for me and the kids - of course if they come in ill be quiet happy to take the money lol, x jue x

Ooooh, i love horse racing of any kind so i'll def be watching the National.
I never have a bet on one, (couldnt afford to lose my money lol) but I always pick out my favourite.
When i was living at home with my parents, we all used to pick a horse and put say 50 pence each into a pot, and the backer of the winning horse would take the lot!
Naughty parents teaching a 12 year old to gamble lolololol

Fingers crossed Carl has picked out a winner for at least one of you now!

We sometimes have a bet but never seem to win so not going to bother this year, we used to put money on top of the tv when we where kids and the winner takes the lot and have done it with our los too, they love it makes them understand about loosing too xxx

Hope your horses come 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th xxx

Awww, i hate watching this, only 14 horses (estimated) actually finished the race out of 40 runners. Its so heartbreaking when you see them fall isnt it?
Well, i picked HedgeHunter.. who although didnt come in top 4, made it to the end of the race!
Did anybody that had a bet win?

, ours came nowhere but fair play carl won £532.00 on the football, he took me out for a few drinks tonight to celebrate lol, lovely to have 2 hours without the kids, even though we love them dearly its nice to have sometime to ourselves (we never get to go out together!!) , both settled now in bed and i may have a couple more lol xx jue xx
