I know this site is all about conceiving and making of life and learning how to nurture our little ones, but I would just like to pay tribute to my wonderful Grandmother, who we called Nain (north wales for nan) who died yesterday.  She was a lovely lady who spoiled me rotten for the last 37 years and over the last month, I have been able to return the favour.  She has been in hospital due to a massive tumour in her lung.  I have visited her, taking as many of her favourites things that I could think of, and sat holding her hand for hours, reading her the nicest bits from papers and magazines.  I have watched her shrinking away from the rotund Grandma with a pinny on, always with a sweetie in her pocket for me, to a very slight frightened little old lady. It has broken my heart, but I am glad I was with her when she drew her last breath, and joined my Grandfather who left some 9 years since.  My ds asked what her last words were to me, I told her that we all loved her and she replied " I love you all too"  She will be greatly missed.

If you made it this far Ladies, may I say thank you.

Sad Madmoo.

I'm so sorry. She sounds like a lovely lady and a wonderful, much
loved grandmother.I'm glad you had the opportunity to be with her to
the end - you will never have any regrets. I wish you strength for the
next few difficult days.

Jain hunny, you have been in my thoughts these past few weeks, and I know how much time you have spent at the hospital with her.

What a wonderful tribute to your Nain hunny, and I'm sure she was so glad to have you by her side when she passed over.  I know this is no consolation, but she was with her special girl and your grandad would have probably been there to meet her, she went in peace and thats all anyone can ask.

Huge massive hugs for you and the kids hunny, you know where I am, and I will be checking!!!!!

Luv ya matey, stay strong xxxxx

So sorry to hear of your loss Jain. Thinking of you and your family. This is a difficult time - cherish your precious memories and take comfort that she will be with your grandad.

xxx
