this is long story but here goes

my son was at what i thought to be a good secondary school he started well anough then in the 2 yr on wards it went down hill he kept getting to trouble so he would be sent home i thougth it was to co with bulling you know other kids,

when i asked the terachers they said no he wasnt  being bullied so i left it at that

then 8 months ago my neice who is tha same age as david told me the the head of year & another teatcher were picking on hime even if he did nothing they blamed him so i went to the school head & told him,

this lead to him being surpendened yet again so i took him out of the school & home taught him for a while

ive now got him into to another school which he starts tomorow since i took him out of the 1st school ive heard many complaint about it.

so now i know i did right thing for my ds

Awww hun thats a huge shame, i think kids can be so cruel but teachers, it just goes against their duty of care.... I'm glad you've found a new school and i hope he has happier experiences this time round.

Well done you for standing up for your son x

Hope your son gets on ok tomorrow. We are a bit concerned about our two daughters' school - unfortunately there isn't a lot of choice where we are (in the middle of nowhere at RAF base). There have been a lot of parents complaining about it for different reasons, including a lack of control over the kids. Rebecca (nearly 14) is usually a good natured, polite girl but unfortunately her and her french teacher have taken a mutual disliking to each other. According to Rebecca she blames her for anything going on in the class, and generally jumps on her at the slightest opportunity. We are seriously considering moving them both to another school, although I'm hoping we'll get posted back up north before it comes to that.

It's such an important time for them at school over the next couple of years - I hope your son settles in well to his new school. Let us know how he gets on.

xxx

Awww thats such good news, i'm glad he's happier now and has already made some friends.

It must be hard for you to let him go and to trust teachers again.

I hope he flourishes in his new school hun.
