Hi all,

I will be attending my husbands best friends wedding on September 15th and by that time i will be around 7 months gone.

It's going to be quite a posh "do" so does anyone know where i should start looking for something special to wear ?

xx

Hi hun

You could have a look in mothercare, next do maternity wear, blooming marvellous, dorothy perks.

Your best bet hun is to search/google maternity wear.... and have a good old browse.

There's lots out there but i'd personally wait till a bit nearer the time unless you'd like to wear a summery style dress.

Happy hunting hun

Yeah i will be waiting to much nearer the time as lets face it, i might be huge or i could stay small-ish ( although i doubt it  )

I'll just have a little browse just now

Oooh I love a good wedding! lol

New Look has some nice maternity stuff, and Next - they're the two places I've got most of mine from this time. There are a couple of slightly more expensive websites too, which had lovely stuff, but I didn't want to spend too much as I think this'll be the last time I'm pg (hehe - which is what I said last time too!!) One of them was called 'Crave'.

Tsena's right - just search maternity wear and have a good browse!

xxx

To be honest, i never actually brought any 'maternity' clothes.
The only item i ever had was a decent pair of mat jeans with the cotton waist for your expanding bump, that i got from MotherCare.
I used to pretty much live in them lol, and they are worth investing in for comfort and support.
Everything else i wore, was normal clothes.. just a size or two bigger!
I wouldn't go buying loads of stuff hun, especially if your not planning on having more than one little one.
Enjoy having a look around, im sure you will find there are many places that do lovely evening wear for pregnant ladies.

Asda do a lovely maternity range, and so do larger New Look stores. I got all mine from Dorethy Perkins, but there is so much more on the high street now and so much more variation. I wouldnt buy until nearer the time though as you'll be blooming by then and could change size quite quickly hehe
