I was speaking to someone earlier and when asked where I was from (columbus ohio), she said wow. I thought it was interesting that there were only a few people from the US on here. I was just wondering where everyone was froma nd what it was like where u lived?

The majority of members are from the UK as the site was formed by a group of UK mothers originally that knew each other (virtually) from another parenting type community.
We have now got quite a few international members although not all visit regularly, we would like more international members and everyone regardless of what part of the world they live in are welcomed, however of course there is always the problem that the site maybe quieter due to time zone differences for US members visiting during US peak times for example, perhaps this is one of the reasons that our other US members visit less frequently than they did.

I live in Penmaenmawr in North Wales. When it is sunny its really quite hot because we have in mountians on one side keeping the sun in and a good sea breeze from the other side keeping the sun in (sounds odd but its true lol).
When its cold its freezing and when it rains you can taste the salt on your face because of the sea.
