Sorry, I'm not sure.  If it was me I would perhaps try not to ride on the tractor, I'm just thinking at the fairground pregnant women shouldn't go on the rides, and if it's really bumpy I would think that it might not be a good thing.

Good luck with ttc, and welcome to the site.  I'm sure someone on here will have a good answer for you.

Hi, and welcome to Madmums.

I'm so sorry for your loss and wish you all the best with trying again.

Like Lynie has said, I don't know the medical answer but it might be worth having a word with a doctor to make sure. There is a lady on here who lives on a farm, will send her a PM and see if she knows.

Enjoy Madmums!

Hi, welcome to the site.

I have no idea whether riding on a tractor will affect the sperm fertalizing the egg or not.

If it isnt necessary for you to ride on it, then I would try and stay off it until you know for certain.

Like Lynie said, pregnant women are urged to stay off fairground rides so not sure if it would be for similar reasons.

Hope you find an answer soon, good luck ttc, hope it happens soon for you

When you fell pregnant with your other children did you stop riding on the tractor then?  I ask because I had a mmc in December and afterwards tried to think of everything that might stop the egg fertilising or might affect my chances of a succssesful pregnancy.  The month I did conceive was the month I stopped worrying and lived normally again.

The egg and sperm are held in fluid in the body so vibration shouldn't affect them finding each other or joining and shouldn't stop them implanting.  If for your peace of mind you would prefer not to ride on the tractor for the time being then don't do it.  I am sure there probably is no medical evidence to suggest that riding on a tractor would stop you becoming pregnant.

Your question doesn't sound stupid at all it sounds like you have thought about it a lot.  Goodluck with ttc and I hope you get the positive you want really soon.

As with most people, if it is something you do often then it shouldn't affect the outcome of getting pregnant at all!  I was told with my first that I shouldn't do this and shouldn't do that, however riding in a tractor was not on the list!  You are also told not to ride horses, but the main reasons for not doing anything is so that you don't start up doing something you are not used to.  Having been in a trator on numerous occasions (my dh is a farmer) the only drawback to them is tey are not very comfortable to sit in compared to a car, and they take an awful lot of climbing into!! lol  I wouldn't worry about it all.  But I would advise you chat to your doctor when you have a chance just to make sure.

A miscarraige at 6 weeks, more often than not means that something wasn't quite right with your little angel.  The doctors explained alot to me when I had mine (both of them), but it won't affect your chance of conceiving again, I had 2 boys, then 2 miscarraiges, a daughter, then 1o years on I had another 2 boys.  If you need to chat you can pm me.

Hi I'm Carey,

I used to ride my moms horse and my doctor told me not to while trying to become pregnant and of course during my entire pregnancy.  The bouncing around just isn't good.  Is this something you could give your OB a call with and ask him/her?

Good luck on getting pregnant and I hope this next time goes better for you.

Care

Thank you all for all the feedback. Really quite helpful!!! Well after I posted this I did some more research and came upon a site that has getting pregnant tips. And one of them was Excercise regularly but do not do anything with bouncing or jerking movement.. Soo i guess that answers my question lol. anyways thanks to all of you !!!!!!!!!!! Im going to staY away from the tractor for a while and hopefully next month might be a good month. I was on BC for 2 months now and this month decided to quit. So i figure this month I wouldnt be able to get pregnant anyways. I will keep trying next month and on!!! Thanks to all!!!!!!!!!
