Hi girls!  Sorry I haven't been around much the last week.  Things have been crazy with Mother's Day, searching for a new house, and lots of trips out of town.

I am officially off my birth control, YEAY!!!  I just began using this ovulation predictor kit.  I guess I should have began taking it the first day I came off the pill, but didn't.  So far it is reading nothing!  I've been doing research and it says when coming off the pill you can ovulate anywhere from the next day to months later... ugh.  Nick (my fiance) and I are just so excited to get this pregnancy started!  He's enjoying trying, haha.... sorry tmi.

Well good luck to all the other ladies ttc.  I'm right here trying along with everyone!  Hope you all are having a great day!

Carey

Oh wow, so I just sent my other post this morning and I just took another ovulation test stick... well it's finally reading something!  There is a line, a lot darker than it has been the past 2 days!!!  It's still not quite as dark as the comparison line which tells you you are ovulating, but it's darker than it has been.  I'm so happy!  Maybe this means I will ovulate in the next few days.

Also I've been having a bit of prickly pains/light cramping.  I don't know if it's from coming off BC or means something else.  Anyone have any input on that?

I'm just so happy there is a true pink line on the stick.  Maybe the next couple tests I do will get darker with each strip!

Light cramping is a good sign that ovulation might be near.  You should be trying at least every other day now.  When I use ovualation predictors I don't always get a good positive so go with my darkest line.  It's very easy to miss the big surge of hormone using predictor kits.  Good luck and keep us posted.
