The first day of my af was the 14/may/07, I have a 26 to 28 day cycle, I started ovulation testing from day 9. Its now day 16 and I still have not ovulated. I have been mapping my cycle for months now and I always ovulated on day 14.

I am a bit baffeled. my last af was very light and only lasted 4 days as apposed to 6 days. I was on holidays so I just put it down to the heat.

I have done a pregnancy test which was a BFN.

Any ideas ???????

Travelling can delay ovulation especially long distance travel.  So can any illness or stress.  Once ovulation has occured then the luteal phase is a set time before the corpus luteam breaks down normally 10-14days.  Are you charting your cycles as well as using opk's?  If so then you will have a better idea if you have ovulated or not by a rise in temperature.  You might just find it's because you were away on holiday. hth

Both can make a difference, some women are really susceptible to travel and even an hour up the road can delay ovulation for them.  As can having a cold or being run down or tired.  The other possibility is that you just missed the surge with ovulation tests that's why some women test twice a day with them.  I never get a strong positive with them but I also temp so normally both tie in together.

I got a faint positive this morning, that God.

For a second I thought I might be pregnant, Which all in all would not be a bad thing.....I just want to wait a few months first.

I am mapping my cycle to get a good idea as to what day I ovulate. We are thinking of ttc in September.
