Hi ladies well as most of you know me and dh have had some tests done to see y we aint conceived yet (after 16 months ).

I posted his results a while back (dh's results are back) and here are mine :

swabs = all normal no signs of sti's or any thing else

first bloods = rubella- normal

                     progesten- normal

                     fsh- need to see gp

                      Lh- need to see gp

also found out i did ovulate at some point last month,

second bloods = oestrogen- normal (serum level 141)

So as you will see i dont seem to have any hormone problems just need to see gp regarding FSH & LH levels in which i will mention appendicitus so hopefully when DH has his test repeated it will come back normal (fingers crossed).

Im pleased i dont have any major problems (if any at all) just got to keep up the deed lol.

Nearly forgot im just awaiting my smear results.

that is a good news. just keep trying and as mentioned, keep having balanced diet. on my personal front, i have stopped taking folic acid supplement and take Brocolli, carrot and few green and red/orange vegetable everyday. thought i should make some chnages in my diet. rather than taking a tablet, it will be better to get it from natural source. i just steam the veg, put some raw onion, tomatos, chilly green, salt and lemon juice, mix and have it as a snack.

I'm so pleased all your results are back as normal hun.
Keep up all your hard work... it will happen when its meant to happen for you, which finger's crossed wont be too much longer to wait.
But at least you know now though, that there's no medical reasons for it taking a while, so just keep going for it!
Take care.

Good news Becky, all sounds very good.  Have you been charting your cycles?  If you want a really good book to read then I can personally recommend "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler.  I bought a copy off of ebay so it was cheaper.  It's very good and explains everything about trying to conceive and trying to avoid very clearly it might help you find out when you ovulate really clearly to give yourself the optimum chance of falling pregnant.  Good luck x
