I am back from New york...so as we discussed we are going to ttc number 2.

In some ways I am looking forward to being pregnant and giving rachel a brother or sister but in other ways i am dreading the sleepless nights and having 2 children but then I stop my self from thinking all thoes negative thoughts.

I just tell myself yes it will be hard but it doesn't last forever and Rachel will getting older and have more understanding and hopefully getting easier.

I am really looking forward to all the trils and tribulations....I am not going to worry about getting pregnant first go as Rachel is still very young and I am a very young 30 (almost), lol. (not that age as any thing to do with it, my aunt had 2 kids in her 40's)

I was at my aunts house the saturday before we left fo New york, she has 7 children and it was lovely to see all the brothers and sisters getting on so well.

I have 1 brother and 1 sister and we get on very well too, most of the time.

I really did miss Rachel when we were in New york and tbh it did cross my mind that if any thing ever did happen myself or john that it would be nice for rachel to have a brother or sister. (morbid, I know)

any-way...wish me luck.

You'll be suprised how well you actually cope with more than one lo.

yes its tough sometimes when they both want you at the same time etc.. Millions of women cope with more than one child.

You'll be fine.

Good luck trying to conceive.

Good luck with trying.  You want to try the week before ovulation too as sperm lives for 3-5 days in a fertile environment and the egg lives for 24hrs after fertilisation so for 5 days before and also the day after ovulation.  Some people go for every other day and some for every day over this time period.  Opk's aren't overly reliable so don't hinge all your trying on them.
