Hi all, Just a quick question. Do those clear blue ovulation tests work?

Do you mean the clearblue fertility monitors or the clearblue opk's?  Personally I don't like the clearblue opk's or hpt's I think they can be difficult to read and ambigous.  Cheap opk's from ebay are very good I buy mine from someone called Lookersgirl and they always do next day delivery they have an online shop too called babymad.  OPK's take a little skill to get the hang of but yes they do work if you time it right and have concentrated urine.

Personally, I've never managed to get a positive reading from an ovulation predictor kit, even when I know that I've ovulated in the time I've been using them.

There are other ways of finding out when you ovulate. Without blowing my own trumpet, there's an article about ttc on the site which explains them - you can read it HERE

Having read the above messages I feel a little relieved.  I thought that this month I would try an OPK because I thought it may help with ttc.  However, so far they have all come back negative.  I have a 35 day cycle so started trying on day 17, although the pack said day 18.  I bought a 2nd pack as the first had all come back negative and I have 1 left in the 2nd pack (which I will use today) and still all negative.  I have followed the instructions so who knows what's happening!

We jus kinda guessed really last time around day 14. It was a long shot as Ihave endometriosis n they sed my chances were lower. So, the first time we tried it happened, then I lost it. Waitin for my period now, think it shud be due anytime! I know its not gonna be as easy as last time. Fingers crossed!
