morning all well im really not happy at all today just had my follow up appt at gp's and it was a waste of time ...........firstly we get there only to be told i didnt have  an appointment booked .......erm my hubby booked it whats going on i need to see someone .......ok what about this afternoon .....not unless she can get to yarmouth haha.......ok we have our duty doc ....fine if thats all you can do .........so i go sit down and get called 5 mins later .....we go in.

She asked what i was there for ....then gets interupted....so then i tell her ....gets inturupted again .......she babbled on about something .....got inturupted again ...so when she was out of the room i had a sneaky peek on the screen i was booked in but the dosy receptionist obviously wiped it off comp ....coz now im really happy ......well anyway gp comes in and basically tells me she will refer us to hospital and that was it didnt go through my scan results or anything so now im no wiser on my pcos or anything .

Im feeling really angry and upset by this today i feel it was a whole waste of time sorry for ranting .

Gosh Becky, that's just terrible. I am sorry you were treated this way there is no excuse.

I hope you get some answers when you go to the hospital, besides that gp is not worth dealing with if she is going to be that rude.

Ring your GP surgery again, explain what has happened and insist on a telephone appointment with your GP today. Then get them to ring your mobile as you will not be home. Once you are talking to your GP tell him/her that you had an appointment for today but the receptionist made you see the duty doctor. Then explain how you want your scan results, and although you respect they are not normally discussed over the phone, you are now away on a break and wanted the results before you went so they weren't playing on your mind. Hopefully if he respects your efforts this morning, and understands your situation he will discuss what he can over the phone.

Im really sorry you were treated like this morning.
