hello girls,

As you all know i have been ttc for quite some time now. as of last month i strarted walking on treadmill for 2km each day. I have never done any form of excersie ever in my life and wanted to change the way i live. i was just wondering if this might have any negative impact on my TTC attempts. I have read that excess of it might cause infertility, but any idea how will it affect someone who is doing for the first time- moderate exercise.

I think if it helps you keep fit and active it's got to be a good thing.  Before I knew I'd fallen pregnant I taught my P.3 class their P.E. classes every week and did a block of skipping with them too!

The only way exercise will affect your fertility is if you loose a lot of weight because your periods will stop or become infrequent.  Moderate exercise should be alright.  If you are concerned mention it to your dr next time you see him/her.
