It's an awful lot of money but if it helps/works then it'll be worth every single penny.

I wouldn't bother with the herbal stuff, but just do the accupuncture...

I once had some chinesy herbal stuff that cost a fortune to help with my IBS.. they didn't work..

Can u tell im not a fan of chinese herbal stuff, lol

It might be worth a crack but you need to make sure it's not going to stress you both out finacially otherwise it might not work..... if you do decide on trying it might i suggest you set yourselfs a time frame of 3-6mths if it doesn't appear to be working call it quits but be strong as dr. china might say it will take a few more weeks etc.

Also see if you can check out his reputation etc, health standards boards etc and check around other auepunturist's (sp!) to make sure he's not taking you for a ride and that they are fairly standard prices.

I wouldn't start anything till your body's sorted itself out though hun, but thats my personal opinion.

Good luck its not an easy decision to make.

I was going to say check out other companies that offer acupuncture and see how their prices match up, and ask them if it will be viable and if it could help. Most will be happy to see you and dh free to talk over your options.

The sensible part of me would say no I wouldn't do it.  I don't like taking things that aren't prescribed by a dr because you don't know what they are or what they could do.  I am not a huge fan of having needles stuck in loads of different places and not sure I believe it works.

The side of my that wants a baby would say yes I would do it, I would do anything if it meant I could have a healthy baby even if it bankrupt me.

Sorry not much help am I.....

I'm in agreement with Sam, as the fact you want a baby so much would give anything for one, however on the brain side, I'd check around first for an average price.  Good luck with your decision.

Acupuncture can be a big help - I had it for my SPD and noticed huge results. However I would look into other places to compare prices.
I did a quick google search and found lots of people saying acupuncture had helped them fall pregnant after years of trying.
I had my acupuncture on the NHS but I dont know if they do it for TTC. I know my chiropractors in wyton do it as well - check them out here and email them to ask for details - they are lovely there!
