Hi Naomi :o) Welcome to madmums!
Im Christine, 25, and single mum to Joshua 5yrs!
As you are thinking about the results, and anxious this could be delaying your period. There are many factors that could delay or indeed make you miss a period. Have you changed your diet? exercise? stress? It is possible that you have had a false negative. Some tests detect earlier in pregnancy than others. The tests are usually quite sensative but there has to be a certain level of the pregnancy hormone in your urine for the tests to accurately pick it up as positive. Just because you have had 2 negative tests doesnt mean you are not pregnant. You may have conceived late in your cycle. I would try to relax, and do as the doctor says. Test again in a few days (as many as you can try and wait, although I know thats not an easy wait). If you are still having negative tests, and no period then as bug suggests, maybe your doctor will do a blood test. This is far more accurate and will detect early pregnancy hormones.
I hope that you dont have to wait for much longer for the reults, and that you get the results you want!
