Hello all! I am new so bare with me. I have been trying to conceive for the last 7 months. I had a miscarriage in Oct. last year and have been desperately TTC ever since.

My LMP was 3/30 with a normal cycle.  My husband and I  had sex on 4/4,5,6,7,12,15,19,21, and 23rd.  My cycle is due 4/27. Can we test or is too soon?

Sorry to hear that you have been ttc and had a miscarriage, it's so hard when you yearn for a baby.  You could test now but there would be no guarentee that you would get a good result.  With the more modern tests they advertise that you can test 2-3days before your period is due.  Conception going by your dates would have been around about the 13th April so it's still very early, I know it's hard but I would give it until at least the date when you are due on next.  Fingers crossed that you will get the result you want.

Hi. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to hear that you're ttc and had a miscarriage. Just want you to know that we're all hear to give you whatever help/advice/support we can.

My daughter took 9 months to conceive, and it felt like it was never going to happen. Something I found really usefull was an ovulation chart. You take your temperature every morning as soon as you wake, and plot it on a chart. When you ovulate, your temp goes up slightly and stays up for 2 days. As you plot your temperature, you begin to see a real patten forming to get an idea of how your body works.

As you find out when you ovulate, you and your husband can try to have sex on those days to increase your chance of conception. I've found an article about it here if you are interested.

I found that I only ovulated every other month - and had I not conceived when I did, my doctor would have used this information in helping me on the next step.

Just thought I'd mention it. It really helped me as it took my mind off the pressure of trying for a baby.

Good luck!

A positive is a positive no matter how feint....  You don't get false positives unless you have a very rare condition which they would have probably tested you for after you miscarriage, also if you have had it done at a clinic it's very unlikely that it was read incorrectly.  So Congratulations

It must be right its very rare to have a false positive as the hormone released to make the test positive is only released if you are pregnant.
