I have just discovered this person on e-bay selling breastfeeding necklaces, something I had never heard of before, but what a great idea.  They are just brightly coloured, secure necklaces that baby can fiddle with whilst you feed them.  The seller is called boobiemonster_necklaces.

She also does matching bracelets that you can put on either wrist to remind you which side you fed on last time.

Sam that is fantastic!  Was just wondering about how I would remember as I wwas always bad at remembering which one I fed with the previous time!  Will go through the link at the side later and see.  Thank you again!  I am really looking forward to breast feeding this time.

They are a very reasonable price too.  £5.50 for a necklace and £7.50 for a bracelet and necklace and that includes postage and packing.  I think I might order myself one they are very pretty too.

I had no problem remembering which side - One was always huge and the other was teeny where I had last fed! It does sound like a fab idea though!

Just ordered mine, but paypal have got a hiccup atm, so I will give it 24 hours then see if the payment went through!  They are lovely!  You watch I'll get mine and dd will take them off me!  They look very much value for money, especially as the cost includes the postage too!

I know what you mean Madz about which side, it's just I dried up very quickly with 2nd- 4th child, I want to make sure this time.  I've even bought in some flavoured water to get my coffee intake down ready, and so that I can access drinks even quicker to keep hydrated!  I know I can't guarantee success at breast feeding, it depends on the individual baby, but I really want to to try for as long as I can, and I hope I don't dry up quickly this time round.  I will still have bottles and sma in ready just in case, but I'm hoping to do as well as I did with ds1!

excellent idea!

with max i used to swap a bracelet around for every feed. but with tom that went completely out of the window!  both boys had an awful habit of squeezing my breast as they fed, i felt like being a milked cow!  even though i wore a necklace nothing seemed to distract them from doing this-lololl.

i wonder how many necklaces/bracelets she has sold?

Just wanted to gatecrash after reading my lovely feedback and say thank you for your comments :) I started making these a few weeks ago, sold a couple to begin with and now things are starting to take off more. It's all thanks to the feedback that I get on sites like this and I really appreciate it! Am glad that the people who have bought the necklaces enjoy them, it really makes my day.

Am off to discover this site more - wish I'd found you when I was pg.

Thanks again

Kina
