I used the medela mini electric pump, and found it really good. It only does narrow bottles, so like sam said, I used to transfer the milk to the avent bottles as that was what I was using at the time.
The only thing I didn't like about it, was that it didn't have the cushioned bit round the top like the avent isis one has. When I used the hospital pump, I got on brilliantly with it because the cushioned bits at the top simulated the sucking pressure on the nipples, where as without them, its just a pump pulling the nipple back and forth.
If I have another, I'd definately get one second hand off ebay, and just make sure it was sterilised well. Having the pump kept Ella on breast milk a week longer and had things been different, I'd have persevered with the pump's help.
They're so easy to clean nowadays too - so I'd def recommend looking 2nd hand to get the model you want.
