I have no real plans to stop. I fed Fran until she was 3yrs old because otherwise she would have been very underweight and ill due to her protein allergy. With Ollie I will just be led at by him, if he decides next week to stop then so be it if he decides in a years time that's ok too. If I have to go back to work sooner rather than later I will still feed morning and night if he wants to. I don't really want to put an age or date to it just enjoying feeding him whilst he wants to.

im gonna stop when ashton weans himself off the breast. couldnt imagin stopping any time soon, he's only 6 months old. will bf for AT LEAST a year. am aiming for 2 years but if he weans himself before then thats fine(ish!)

Kieran is 22 months and still has one feed b4 he goes to bed, but if he had his way he would still be fed all day long! I have no idea when I am gonna totally cut it out, was hoping he would decide that but got an idea I am just going to have to stop him one day!

Sorry about the title!! I was attending to Tom at the time and wasn't concentrating!!
Max weaned himself off. He just started to take less and less when his first tooth came through. I don't think I want to breast feed past a year though. Tom is thriving-he's on the 75th centile for weight, and I think he'll have all the benefits he needs by then. We take each day as it comes.

I have always thought 6 months but I might do a bit longer... I am going to have a few drinks tonight tho and ellie is having formula!! isn't it weird, I feel guilty even doing that! it's only 2 feeds!

Don't feel guilty I am sure Ellie won't even care as long as she is getting fed she won't mind where it comes from. You just have a nice time and relax you've had a crappy week.
