OMG I'm up again at this un-earthly hour!!! It's nearly 2.30am and there is no sign of tiredness in Nathaniels eyes His body clock seems to be back to front cause he is wide awake and he hardly ever gets like this during the day, I think he's just a night owl... It makes me want to give in and give him a bottle of formula so he will sleep longer during the night especially when I've got such a bad cold, I really need to have a good sleep (no such luck!!!!!). But I wont give in I'm gonna keep on bf and just hope he starts to adjust and realise its not playtime when he wakes up during the night...

You are doing really well.  I felt like this at times too, but then I thought it wouldn't be like this forever- it's only giving up a few months of my life to breastfeeding in order to provide the best possible start that I can for my baby.  Sometimes when they are so small you can't believe they'll ever be toddlers, but blink and they are!

Try to get some rest when he does during the day.  Forget the housework!

Edward was like this - for the first 5 weeks of his life he hardly slept at night at all! Even after that it took a while but it felt like a lifetime at the time - now I realise it was just a blink!

Stick with what you are doing - make night feeds quiet times and keep the lights low. He'll get their eventually.

Rest when you can during the day!

You are doing fab!

Thanks for your words of support, not been on here for a while so only just read your replys. Nathaniel is 9wks old now and still waking through the night for feeds but tends to settle a bit quicker so fingers crossed he'll be sleeping through in no time!!!!!
