Just thought I'd share this as Ellie has this yesterday and she absolutely loved it - it is much cheaper than baby rice but you have to make it with normal milk because it needs to boil and I don't think you can boil formula or breastmilk...
Ellie had it with apricot and apple - according to Annabel Karmel, the amount I made would do 4 portions but Ellie ate more than half of it in one go!!
2oz dried apricots, 1.5 tbsp semolina, 6oz milk
put the apricots in pan of water, boil for 8 mins...put semolina in a different pan over medium heat and gradually add milk - keep stirring till it boils, stir for 3 mins (simmering), it goes thick - add apricots and puree...I added apple too..
you can freeze it in portions but it may need more milk adding when defrosted
(semolina contains gluten)
