Hey all, I've still got two whole long stretched out weeks before I'm due to give birth to my little girl. I've had a physio appt today but all she could give me was more support tubigrip. She told me some better positions to give bieth in than the bed way so hopefully I'll try those when the time comes. I soooo want a natural labour and under 8lbs baby so desperately and I wish I could go into labour early cos I'm so fed up of the SPD pain. I can't get comfy in bed so can't sleep much. Two weeks is too long and I'm house bound too.

I know I should be lucky to have help and stop complaining but I can't harrass hubby anymore it's not fair. I hope you all don't mind me venting here instead.

crystal xxx

of course we dont mind hun,

i have never expirienced spd my self but it sounds very painful i did get sciatica whilst preg and that was bad enough, 2 wks does seem a long time if your in pain but it will fly, why do you want the baby to be less than 8lb?.

you might go early hope you do.

sending  painless labour vibes your way,

thinking of you.

I had my first son ventouse delivery with epidural he was 8obs 1 oz. Then came Tashay first time with SPD, natural delivery no pain relief quick and only weighed 6lbs 15oz. Then Jaden, SPD induced, long labour, no pain relief at all and he was 8lbs 10oz.

Don't get me wrong, I want a healthy baby but it seems that my best easiest labour so far was Tashays one that's why I say less than 8lbs but whatever it turns out to be I don't think I really have any influence over so it's just wishful thinking I guess!

Iv got my fingers crossed u hav a quick easy labour wen it comes

& not 2 much discomfort in the mean time

Crystal..stop being so silly. You were one of the mums that got me through mine too remember?? and i was queen of raging on vents. Have you thinned out any? if so, they can volunteer to do a sweeping, which is what they did to put me in labor to be done with the process already. I hope it comes along rapidly...remember, my last two weeks of 37 to 38...i was panicky, worried and just frusterated. my dh kept being woken up for the pain i had all night and all that confusion of whether or not to go to the hospital.

You need to vent on and on..go ahead..it passes the time away as well. Baby is coming atleast..you know it..how exciting!! the more and more pain i got, i knew i was just another day closer to being done. Stay comfy and relaxed as much as possible and tell us here...we are all pulling through for you and hangin in there with you as well.

Muah! counting down the days..its going by so quickly now.

Yay crystal..your the next madmum to have a madbaby.

Aww hugs to you crystal. And they say it gets easier with each one!!!!!

Never had SPD but read a few things....very painful and I feel for you.

Hope the two weeks either fly by or you go in very soon. Just hold on to the thought that it's a pink one and you'll soon be meeting your little girl.

Always about if you want a chat to get rid of a bit of time.

Take care and big hugs

Sarah

Oooh  I really feel for you, had problems in first pg and have another long 17 weeks with worsening snags this time.

Hope it all goes well for you and you get the labour you want.  Brave girl if this carries on for me I reckon I'll be begging to be unzipped instead.

Good luck with the next couple of weeks.
