donna all children are different and only you will be able to notice when you think you lo is ready, my molly has just turned 2 and im yet to start her my aim is for the summer - she does know what wees and poos are and when shes done them, i have tried her several times on the toilet and potty shes used both a couple of times but she had loads of accidents on the floor lol so i think she isnt quiet ready !!! i keep the potty on show so shes familar with it and before and after a bath i sit her on the toilet, ive also stocked up on big girls pants for her which i keep showing her and tellig her she will be wearing them soon - im dreading it but apparently if your childs ready you can have them trained within a week - so fingers crossed x x jue x x

my daughter wouldnt sit on the potty until a months ago and then she was dry in 2 days. so i think she was ready but she was 2 years 4 months
