I want to start Adam off during the holidays on the potty. Any tips will be greatly appreciated as after 2 girls, I'm not sure what you do with lil boys ! Do I sit him on the potty or stand him at the loo ?

I would sit him on the potty to begin with.. when Taylor was ready to be potty trained he used the potty for quite a while, he didn't use the toilet till about 9 months after.. basically, he was and still is a short arse.

Just make sure his winkie is in the potty.. i had to clean up after Taylor a few times as he didnt quite fit it in the potty.

i agree you should sit him on the potty....when yr going out etc he wont always be able to use a toilet standing up without you lifting him neway so he may aswell sit down till he's bigger! i know my two lil cousins dint start standing to use toilet till theyd been potty trianed for about a yr or so and they were confident about it! theres no rush!! good luck!! let us know how you get on xxx
