I started potty training monday last week and thought I may have been too early but over monday and tuesday he improved slightly and has a few successes.

Wednesday and Thursday we were out all day and he was in pull ups and just wasnt fussed about telling me he needed a wee - behaved like he was in a nappy. Friday I wasnt up for potty training as I couldnt actually move - but that evening I stripped his bottom half off and in the space of a hour has 1 wee and 2 poos on the potty and no accidents at all.

Yesterday he was in the garden with daddy and had an accident and he was in pull ups in the afternoon.

Today we are in so he is just in pants and has had no accidents - everything (wees and poos) have been done straight on the potty - I dont have to ask, he just tells me there is a wee or a poo coming and sits on the potty.

I need to master doing it while we are out now, and at playschool - but I really think we are well over the first hurdle!

Awww thats fab hun. I'm sure he will come on leaps and bounds once he goes to nursery again.... he'll be wanting to show off to all the other children that he too can go wee wee and poo poo on the potty!

Just wait till he comes home and asks why you haven't got a mini toilet for him and could you get him one!

Excellent!
Well Done little Eds for being such a clever boy
He'll have the hang of it soon Madz, sounds like he really is getting it now.. him understanding what he has to do is the hardest thing to pick up, so sounds like he's well on the way to being nappy free.
Keep on encouraging and praising him when he goes on the potty.
Well Done to you all!
